Gregory West, often known as Greg West, is a member of the Cumberland County Board of Education, a position he has held since 2002. His current term on the school board is set to end in 2026. He is the owner of Westan Homes, a homebuilding company based in Fayetteville. West holds a bachelor's degree in environmental design from North Carolina State University and a master's degree in business administration from Campbell University. He is a licensed real estate broker and general contractor. His community involvement includes serving as a deacon at Snyder Memorial Baptist Church and as Vice Chairman of Economic Development for the Fayetteville Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce.
