Haley S. Boone

Haley S. Boone, often known as Sean Boone, has an extensive legal background in North Carolina. He earned a Bachelor's degree in 1990 and a Master's degree in 1993 from North Carolina State University. He then obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1997. While in law school, he interned at the Alamance County District Attorney's Office and was hired as an Assistant District Attorney upon graduation. He served in that capacity for 18 years, eventually becoming the First Assistant, and has handled thousands of criminal cases. In 2015, he became a partner at the firm of Walker, Bullard & Boone. The current District Attorney for Prosecutorial District 17 is also named Sean Boone, who was first elected in 2018.
