Harold Kevin Corbin

Harold Kevin Corbin was born and raised in Macon County, North Carolina. He graduated from Franklin High School in 1979 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Appalachian State University in 1983. His career in public service began at age 22 when he was elected to the Macon County School Board, where he served for 20 years, including 16 as chairman. He later served on the Macon County Board of Commissioners for six years, four of which were as chairman. In 2017, Corbin was elected to the North Carolina House of Representatives for the 120th district, serving two terms before being elected to the North Carolina Senate for District 50 in 2020. He is the owner of The Corbin Insurance Agency.
