Hazel Floyd is a 21-year-old recent graduate of the University of Alabama, running as the Democratic nominee for Alabama House District 38 in a special election on February 3, 2026. If elected, she would be one of the youngest members of the Alabama House. She advocates for stronger representation and a louder voice for Chambers and the rural parts of Lee County in Montgomery. Floyd has signed a pledge to support congressional term limits through an Article V convention. She encourages young Alabamians to vote and is considering a run in the November 2026 general election if she does not win the special election.
