Heather Rooks

Heather Rooks, an Arizona native, attended Glendale Community College. She currently serves as an at-large member and President of the Peoria Unified School District Governing Board, a position she assumed in January 2023 with her term concluding in January 2027. Rooks, a Republican, is seeking election to the Arizona House of Representatives for District 28, which includes areas such as north Phoenix, Peoria, Glendale, Sun City, and Sun City West. She is scheduled to appear on the Republican primary ballot on July 21, 2026, and simultaneously plans to seek re-election for her current school board seat.
