Hector Mujica is a former Google executive who previously led economic opportunity efforts at Google.org across the Americas. A first-generation Venezuelan-American, Mujica was raised in South Florida and holds degrees from Florida International University and UC Berkeley. He previously performed constituent casework for U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Initially a 2026 candidate for the U.S. Senate in Florida, Mujica withdrew to run for the U.S. House in Florida's 28th Congressional District.
