She works as a Case Manager at Incompass Human Services, supporting families with medically complex children. Simione has a background in the healthcare technology industry, where she negotiated contracts and led engineering teams. She serves as the Chairperson of the Somerville Commission for Persons with Disabilities and the Ward 4 Somerville Democratic Committee. She was also a Governor-appointed member and former Chair of the Massachusetts Developmental Disabilities Council.
