James Eddie Lumsden, born August 25, 1952, is an incumbent American politician representing Georgia's 12th district in the State House of Representatives. A Republican, he first assumed office on January 14, 2013, and has served continuously since then. During his tenure, Lumsden also held the position of Deputy Majority Whip from 2016 to 2018. He was most recently on the ballot for re-election in November 2024, having advanced from the Republican primary in May 2024.
