James McQueen

James McQueen is a Republican candidate seeking to represent District 29C in the Maryland House of Delegates. Born at Bethesda Naval Hospital, he has been a Maryland resident for most of his life. For over three decades, McQueen has resided in Calvert County, where he is a property owner. He has volunteered as a Southern MD Region Captain for the Maryland Convention of States, an organization through which he advocated for fiscal restraint and limiting federal government power. During a 2021 meeting of the Maryland Citizens Redistricting Commission, he spoke in favor of drawing district lines that keep counties together to enhance communication and teamwork on local issues.
