James Perkins is a candidate for Lenoir City Council in Lenoir, North Carolina — 2025 General Election. Running as Non-partisan.

James 'Ike' Perkins has served on the Lenoir City Council since 2013. He is the Pastor at Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church. He holds a Master Degree in Religion from the West Lenoir School of Ministry (2008). Perkins is the founder of 'LINK' (Learning Investment Network for Kids) and serves on the Board of Directors for the Helping Hands Clinic. He is also the President of the Caldwell County Interdenominational Ministerial Association and has previously served on the City of Lenoir Planning Board and Board of Adjustments.
