Pinder has extensive community service experience, having served on nearly two dozen city boards and commissions, including the Greensboro Transit Advisory Council and the Arts Council of Greater Greensboro. She was appointed to the City Council in January 2025 to fill the seat of the late Yvonne Johnson.
