Jamison Whiting is a candidate for Minneapolis City Council Ward 11 in Minneapolis, Minnesota — 2025 General Election. Running as Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL-endorsed).

Jamison Whiting grew up in Ward 11, attending Hale, Field, and graduating from Washburn High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Northern Iowa in 2017, where he was a Division I athlete in football and track. He received his law degree from the University of California-Irvine School of Law in 2021. Following the murder of George Floyd, he joined the Minneapolis City Attorney's Office to work on police reform initiatives. He also serves as a volunteer high school football coach at Washburn.
