Abhirajan has served as the Vice-Chair of the Parks and Recreation Committee and is the founder of the Morrisville Holi and Diwali celebrations. She has also been on the boards of various organizations, including HumSub, Heritage India, and Triangle Area Hindu Temples, and has served on an advisory board committee for the Morrisville Town Council.
