Jason Dozier

Jason Dozier is an Atlanta native and a U.S. Army combat veteran who served as a reconnaissance officer in Iraq and Afghanistan, earning a Bronze Star Medal. He holds a Bachelor's degree in history and education from Denison University, a Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia, and a Master of Science in Real Estate from Georgia State University. Before his election to the City Council in 2021, he worked as a director at Hire Heroes USA, a nonprofit that helps military veterans find employment. He has been active in his Mechanicsville community, serving in various neighborhood organizations. He assumed office for his current term on January 3, 2022.
