Jesse Parris

Jesse Parris is a social justice activist and 3rd Generation Denverite with over a decade in political and social justice work. A Northeast Denver resident, he earned a criminology and criminal justice degree from MSU Denver. His activism, rooted in personal experience with homelessness, focuses on advocating for the unhoused. Running for Colorado House of Representatives, District 8, Parris is motivated by his community's unmet needs. He aims to champion for Black Denverites and the most vulnerable, focusing on reparations, fighting systemic racism, and police brutality. He is a candidate in the 2026 Colorado Primary Election, listed as Unity Party for the general.
