Jim Olsen is an incumbent Republican State Representative for Oklahoma's 2nd District, first elected in 2018. He earned degrees from Nassau Community College and the University at Albany, SUNY, also attending Free Gospel Bible Institute. He and his wife, Becky, have seven children and ten grandchildren. Olsen, a Sunday school teacher in Sallisaw, has served as Chair of the Elections and Ethics Committee and has drawn criticism for his stances on issues including abortion, slavery, and education. He currently represents the people of Oklahoma's 2nd District.
