Jodie Barr

Jodie Barr is a longtime Roaring Fork Valley resident, parent, grandparent, volunteer, and advocate for children. She founded Mrs. Barr's Natural Foods, distributing products across Colorado, building on her experience working with children since age sixteen, including running a preschool. Barr advocates for strong academic fundamentals—literacy, math, science, and history—believing in high expectations and support for all students. Her platform emphasizes student wellness, including nutrition, exercise, and safe schools, and calls for parents, teachers, and community members to partner in building effective schools.
