John C. Lasken is a non-partisan candidate running for the Board of Education At Large in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. A resident of Centreville, Lasken brings both military and corporate leadership experience to his campaign. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, where he minored in mathematics, and subsequently served as an officer in the United States Navy. Following his military service, Lasken transitioned to the private sector, enjoying a long professional career with Lockheed Martin. No stranger to educational governance, he also served as a board member for the Mount Laurel Township School District in New Jersey prior to seeking local office in Maryland.
