John Hinton is a candidate for Town of Maggie Valley Board of Aldermen in Maggie Valley, North Carolina — 2025 General Election. Running as Non-Partisan.

John Hinton is currently serving his first term as an Alderman for the Town of Maggie Valley, having been elected in November 2021. He has over 40 years of leadership experience in the transportation and distribution industry with companies such as Collins & Aikman Corporation and Harris Teeter. Additionally, he has served for over 20 years on the Boards of the National Private Truck Council and the North Carolina Trucking Association. A resident of Maggie Valley since 2011, Hinton is also a board member of the Maggie Valley United Methodist Church and a member of the Waynesville Elks Club Lodge #1769. He retired in 2017.
