John 'Jay' Ruby moved to Prescott 28 years ago. He founded the Tsunami on the Square festival and The Carpetbag Brigade physical theater company. He has worked as a teacher at Kestrel High School and as an archivist for sculptor John Waddell. He currently runs a consulting firm, Juniper Granite, and continues to direct The Carpetbag Brigade.
