Jonathan Hensley

Jonathan Hensley is a lifelong resident of Goldston, North Carolina. Before entering public office, he served for 15 years in the Chatham County Sheriff's Office, where he started on patrol and later moved to major crimes investigations, eventually becoming a SWAT team leader. After his career in law enforcement, he pivoted to running his family's restaurant, Rufus', and served as a Goldston town commissioner before being elected Mayor. Hensley is a passionate advocate for preserving Goldston's small-town charm while guiding it toward a sustainable future.
