Dr. Jonathan Leon is an educator, policy expert, and parent with children in Atlanta Public Schools. He began his career as an elementary school teacher in APS. He has since held various leadership roles in education, focusing on creating equitable learning systems. He earned a doctorate in Education Policy and Leadership from American University, as well as degrees from Georgia State and Syracuse University. Currently, he serves on the D.M. Therrell High School GO Team and the APS Facilities Planning Stakeholder Committee. His work has involved leading national initiatives on culturally responsive leadership and family engagement strategies.
