Joseph King

Joseph 'Wayne' King II is the founder and President of Old North Strategies, a government and public affairs firm. He was born and raised in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. From 2013 to 2019, he served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Political Advisor to Congressman Mark Meadows. He has also served as a Senior Advisor to Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D. King has a long history of political involvement, serving as a delegate to five Republican National Conventions since 2004. He was appointed to the Cleveland County Board of Elections by then-Governor Pat McCrory, serving as Chairman from July 2013 to November 2018. He also serves on the Cleveland Community College Board of Trustees. In addition to his public affairs work, he is the CEO and founder of King Realty Partners and Right Way Solutions, a political consulting firm.
