Keith Walker

Keith Walker is the founder, president, and CEO of East Carolina Community Development Inc. (ECCDI), an organization focused on developing workforce and affordable housing. He has been a resident of Eastern North Carolina since 1985, originally from Buffalo, New York. His career began in human services as a counselor for at-risk youth before he became the Community Services Block Grant director at Carteret Community Action. Over more than 25 years, ECCDI has built 16 developments, housing over 1,300 individuals, and he has raised over $70 million for affordable housing.
