Ken Smith serves as a Superior Court Judge for the Macon Judicial Circuit, having been appointed by Governor Brian P. Kemp in January 2024. In this role, he presides over cases in Macon-Bibb, Crawford, and Peach Counties. Prior to his appointment, Smith was a trial lawyer and founding member of The Law Offices of Ken Smith, LLC from August 2015 to January 2024. His private practice focused on DUI defense, criminal defense (including firearms, drug, and conspiracy charges in federal and state courts), and personal injury. Smith, a native of the middle Georgia area, expresses gratitude for the opportunity to serve his community and pledges to apply the laws of Georgia fairly and without bias.
