Kevin M. Steele is an American businessman and Republican politician. The youngest of nine children, he was raised in Tampa, Florida. He attended Hillsborough Community College and the University of South Florida, where he earned a degree in business management. He worked at Chase Manhattan Bank, GTE, and Z-tel before founding DataLink Software in 2001, a Tampa-based healthcare technology company; he retired as its CEO in 2022. Steele was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2022, representing District 55, and served until August 2026. He lives in Dade City, Florida, with his wife and four daughters.
