Kim L. Ross is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Legislative District 8. She assumed office on March 3, 2025, following her appointment by Governor Wes Moore. In her legislative capacity, Delegate Ross serves on the Health and Government Operations Committee and is an active member of the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland. Her extensive educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English from North Carolina Central University, a Master of Arts in strategic communications from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and a graduate certificate in strategic media communications from New York University. Before entering public service, Ross built a career in communications, holding positions as a financial news manager, a public relations account executive, and various other communications management roles.
