Nick Allen is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Legislative District 8 in Baltimore County. Sworn into office on January 11, 2023, he brings a diverse background of military, private sector, and public service experience. Allen is a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph High School and the United States Military Academy at West Point. Following his commissioning, he served as a platoon leader in the U.S. Army, which included a deployment to Afghanistan. Prior to his election to the House, his civilian career included positions at General Motors and PepsiCo, and he most recently worked as a program manager for the Maryland Department of Health. He serves on the House Environment and Transportation Committee.
