Kristen Strezo

Kristen Strezo is an incumbent Councilor-at-Large, a single mother of two, a social justice advocate, and a former journalist. Born in Chicago, she is a descendant of factory workers. She earned her degree from Harvard University Extension in 2015, where she won a commencement speech prize. Before her election to the City Council, she was unanimously elected co-chair of the Somerville Commission for Women. She lives in Assembly Square with her two children.
