LaTrisha Vetaw is the incumbent Minneapolis City Council Member for Ward 4, first elected in 2021. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to North Minneapolis at age 12. Prior to her election, she worked at NorthPoint Health & Wellness for 15 years, serving as the Director of Health Policy and Advocacy. She also served as an at-large member and Vice President of the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board from 2017 to 2021. Vetaw was the first in her family to graduate from college, earning a bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State University in 2007.
