Linda Foley

Linda Foley is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 15. Initially appointed in December 2021, she was subsequently elected to a full term. Within the legislature, Foley serves on the Environment and Transportation Committee. Her career prior to public office includes extensive experience as a journalist and a labor leader. Notably, she was the first female president of the Newspaper Guild and a vice-president of the Communications Workers of America. Foley has also chaired the Montgomery County Democratic Party. She earned her Bachelor of Science in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
