Lindsay H. Burton serves as a Superior Court Judge for the Northeastern Judicial Circuit in Georgia, having been elected in 2022 and taking office in 2023. She previously served as a Juvenile Court Judge for the same circuit, appointed in 2013 and later as Chief Judge. Before her judicial career, Judge Burton spent thirteen years as an Assistant District Attorney, rising to Chief Assistant District Attorney and trying over one hundred jury trials. She holds an undergraduate degree from Penn State University and a Juris Doctorate from Villanova University Law School. In 2023, Governor Brian Kemp appointed her to the State Commission on Family Violence. Judge Burton is married to Bonner and resides in Gainesville with their two sons.
