Lindsey Smith has been a licensed attorney since 2008 and has spent much of her career as a public servant. She previously served as the Executive Director for the NC Innocence Inquiry Commission. Currently, she serves as a parent attorney for indigent clients in Moore and Hoke counties. Smith moved to Carthage in Moore County in 2022. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Elon University and a Juris Doctor with Honors from the UNC School of Law.
