Luis Paniagua

Luis Paniagua is a Democratic candidate for the U.S. House in Nevada’s 1st Congressional District in 2026. A financial consultant and community organizer, he graduated from the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts and Bowdoin College. He identifies as a Progressive Democrat and emphasizes participatory control of local tax revenue, advocating for the incorporation of unincorporated Las Vegas communities like the Eastside to keep wealth locally managed. His campaign also aims to diagnose systemic monetary problems and address the economy's increasing debt obligations. He is running in the Democratic primary against incumbent Rep. Dina Titus.
