Mariela Roca is a Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, seeking to represent Maryland's 6th Congressional District. A veteran of the United States Air Force, she served as a medical logistician and was deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. After her military service, Roca continued to apply her expertise as a medical logistics contractor for the Department of Defense at Fort Detrick. Her extensive academic background includes a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Technology and a Master of Business Administration, both earned from Mount Saint Mary's University. She also holds a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus. A mother of two, Roca is a resident of Frederick, Maryland.
