Martin Wilson

Martin 'Marty' Wilson is a five-year resident of Bermuda Run. He was born in Granite Falls, North Carolina, and graduated from Appalachian State University with a BS Degree in Public Management. He also completed the Municipal Administration Course from the UNC Institute of Government. Wilson has a 30-year career in local government, having worked for the cities of Granite Falls, Graham, and Newton, NC, before retiring in 2010. From 2010 to 2020, he worked with a non-profit agency providing assistance to local governments. He currently serves on the Town's Planning Board and is a volunteer for the American Red Cross Disaster Assistance Team.
