Melissa Wirthlin

Melissa Wirthlin was appointed as Constable of the Sierra Vista Precinct in March 2017 and was subsequently elected to the office in November 2018. Before becoming Constable, she worked for the Cochise County Sheriff's Department for 20 years, retiring as a Detention Lieutenant. Her experience at the Sheriff's Department included roles in background investigations, as a voice stress analyst, and as a training coordinator. Wirthlin was also previously an Arizona Process Server and a Private Investigator. She has been a board member for the Arizona Constable Association since 2019 and serves as the Secretary of the Board. Additionally, she is a member of the Sheriff's Assist Team.
