Michael A. Fenton

Michael A. Fenton is an attorney and the incumbent City Councilor for Ward 2 in Springfield, Massachusetts. He was first elected in 2009 at the age of 22, becoming the youngest member in the city's history. He has served as City Council President multiple times, first elected to the position in 2014. Fenton earned a Bachelor of Arts from Providence College and both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration from Western New England University. He is a shareholder at the law firm Shatz, Schwartz and Fentin, P.C., where his practice focuses on commercial real estate, business planning, and estate planning.
