Dr. Michael Luther is the current Mayor Pro-tem for the Town of Indian Beach. He is an executive with over 31 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. He has held senior roles at companies like Merck and GlaxoSmithKline and served as the first President of the David H. Murdock Research Institute at the North Carolina Research Campus. He was a Carl Stone Muscular Dystrophy Fellow at The Salk Institute and has authored over 67 publications.
