Michael Rappaport has served on the Montville Township Board of Education since January 2018. A resident of the township since 2004, his two daughters were raised in Montville, with one having graduated from the district and the other currently attending Montville Township High School. Professionally, Rappaport is a patent attorney specializing in information technology, computing systems, self-driving vehicles, and communication networks. During his tenure on the board, he has been the chairperson for the Safety & Security committee, served on the Curriculum & Instruction committee, and acted as the liaison to the Montville Township High School Parent Teacher Council (PTC).
