Montreena Hadley

Montreena W. Hadley was elected to the Mebane City Council in November 2021, becoming the first black female council member in the city's history. She previously had a 30-year career in local government, including 19 years with the City of Mebane as Planning Director, from which she is now retired. She holds a Master's of Public Administration from NC Central University and a B.A. in Public Administration from Shaw University. She is also a North Carolina Certified Zoning Official and received a Municipal Administration Certificate from UNC-Chapel Hill.
