Neil Hansen is a candidate for U.S. House, Utah District 2 in the 2026 election. He previously served as a Democrat in the Utah House of Representatives from 1999 to 2011. Hansen also ran unsuccessfully for Utah treasurer in 2024. In the 2026 election for U.S. House, he sought the nomination of the Independent American Party of Utah but was defeated in the party's convention.
