Nick Hinrichsen

Nick Hinrichsen is an incumbent Colorado State Senator representing District 3, which includes Pueblo County. A Democrat, he serves in a leadership role as Majority Whip and is an Army veteran. He earned his education at CU Denver. Senator Hinrichsen is Vice Chair of the Business, Labor, & Technology Committee and a member of the Agriculture & Natural Resources, Capital Development, Judiciary, and Cell Phone Connectivity Interim Study committees. His legislative work includes sponsoring bills related to a Front Range Passenger Rail District, town abandonment with critical water infrastructure, and requiring financial disclosures for county coroners. He is campaigning to continue serving in the Colorado State Legislature.
