Ophelia R Jones

Ophelia R Jones has served on the Sedalia Town Council since at least 2021. She is a retiree from the Guilford County School system. She holds a B.S. degree from Shaw University and a M. Ed. from Bowie State University. Jones is a member of the North Carolina Black Elected Municipal Officials and serves as the chair of the Scholarship Committee. She has been involved in the community, participating in the Sedalia Beautification Contest in 2005 and chairing a committee for clean water and sewer lines in 2004-05.
