Paris Miller-Foushee is serving her first term on the Town Council, having been elected in 2021. She works at the Inter-Faith Council for Social Service and previously was an English Professor at St. Augustine's University. She has served as the Vice-Chair of the Town's Community Police Advisory Committee and on the Steering Committee of the Re-Imagining Community Safety Task Force. She holds a BA in English from UNC Greensboro and an MA in English and School Administration from NC Central University. She and her husband, a Chapel Hill native, are raising their son in their family's ancestral home in the Historic Northside community.
