Raymond Stuetz is a Republican candidate for Matawan Borough Council in New Jersey, set to participate in the 2026 primary election. He is campaigning alongside Anthony Washington. Stuetz previously ran for Matawan town Council in the 2025 election, receiving 1,777 votes but ultimately losing. Following that election, he and fellow Republican candidate Patricia Roinestad filed a lawsuit against the Monmouth County Board of Elections in December, alleging voter abnormalities and seeking a thorough review of voting records. The lawsuit was subsequently dismissed. His current candidacy reflects a continued engagement in Matawan's local governance.
