Robert D. Leonard II is an incumbent Superior Court Judge for the Cobb Judicial Circuit in Georgia, seeking re-election in the general election on May 19, 2026. He was initially appointed to the Superior Court by Governor Nathan Deal in November 2012, replacing George H. Kreeger. Before his time on the Superior Court bench, Judge Leonard maintained a private law practice in Marietta, Georgia. In December 2010, he was appointed Judge of the Cobb County State Court by Governor Sonny Perdue, a position he held until his subsequent Superior Court appointment. Judge Leonard earned both his undergraduate and J.D. degrees from the University of Kentucky. He previously ran for re-election in 2014 and won without opposition.
