He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for the Georgia Secretary of State, holding various leadership roles in the office since 2019, including Deputy Secretary of State. An entrepreneur, Sterling owns Elbow Bend Brewing & BBQ. He previously served on the Sandy Springs City Council. Sterling gained national attention for publicly refuting false election fraud claims after the 2020 election and testified before the January 6th Committee.
