ROBERT W. NORRIS is a lifelong resident of Franklin County, VT. He graduated high school at Bellows Free Academy, St. Albans in 1975 and obtained his AS in criminal justice from Community College of Vermont in 1994. He retired in 2019 after 30 years in law enforcement, the last 20 as Franklin County Sheriff. He served as Zoning Administrator, town juror, town agent, and justice of the peace, and is Moderator for the Town of Sheldon. He resides in Sheldon with his wife Elizabeth A. (Callan); they have four children and ten grandchildren. Member of the Vermont House 2021–2022; Vermont Senate 2023–present.
