Robert Womack is a Democratic candidate for the Michigan House of Representatives, District 82. He previously served as a Kent County Commissioner for District 17, representing parts of Grand Rapids. In addition to his career in public service, Womack is the general manager and program director for WYGR 94.9 FM and Community Empowerment Radio. In 2020, Governor Gretchen Whitmer appointed him to serve on the Black Leadership Advisory Council to represent Black leadership in public policy.
